主要从事点云数据处理、遥感图像处理等方面的研究。主持和参加了高分对地观测重大专项项目，“863”项目，预研项目，国家部委项目子课题，以及多个横向项目。发表论文70余篇。

点云数据处理
移动激光扫描系统研发，点云数据配准、补全、目标识别、语义标记，基于点云的无人驾驶车辆定位等。
